Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PainPointMap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Description of Service

PainPointMap is an AI-powered market research tool that scans publicly available Reddit content to identify pain points, map competitors, and generate business opportunity analysis. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive purposes.

Subscriptions and Payments

PainPointMap offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

  • Billing: Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.
  • Free trial: If offered, free trial periods convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect.
  • Refunds: We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. Contact support@painpointmap.com for refund requests.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other individuals
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond normal use
  • Resell or redistribute scan results as a competing service
  • Use the Service to spam, deceive, or mislead others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by PainPointMap and protected by intellectual property laws.

  • Your data: You retain ownership of any data you provide to us. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data for the purpose of providing the Service.
  • Scan results: The analysis, pain points, competitor maps, and solution ideas generated by our Service are provided for your use. You may use these results for any lawful purpose including commercial use.
  • Reddit content: Reddit posts and comments accessed through our Service remain the property of their respective authors and are subject to Reddit's terms of service.

AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze Reddit data and generate insights. AI-generated content, including pain point descriptions, competitor analysis, and solution ideas, is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You should verify all findings independently before making business decisions based on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PainPointMap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, resulting from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or in-app notification.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
